Alderney Suspends Sheriff Gaming's License

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has announced that it has suspended the license of gaming software designer Sheriff Gaming pending a hearing. The move was made following an investigation into the company's owners.

The suspension of the license officially affects Bubble Group BV, the parent company of Sheriff Gaming. The company's owners Michel Gregoire (32), Maurice Gregoire (34) and Stijn Flapper (34) were investigated earlier this year by Dutch authorities for their role in helping operate several illegal Dutch targeted betting sites. The illegal sites that the trio are suspected of helping operate include: Casino Amsterdam, Amsterdams Poker, Fruit Luck, Tanzoo, Jackpot Red, Triple Gold, Golden Ten, and Tanzoo

The new investigation by Alderney is a result of the previous investigation.

Because of the license suspension, Sheriff Gaming is required to cease operations until the AGCC cancels the suspension, which will happen after the hearing is held in London's Royal Automobile Club on October 29th, 2013.

As of the writing of this article, no response by Sheriff was yet available. Casino Listings will update this story as developments break.
