British police arrested two Polish men who stand accused of orchestrating a DDoS attack on Club World Casino earlier this month.
The two men, Piotr Smirnaw (31), and Patryk, Surmacki (35) allegedly conducted the attack while they were in London's Heathrow Airport on August 2nd. The attack overloaded the site's servers and prevented customers from accessing the site for the duration of the 36 hour attack.
The two men stand charged of blackmail and unauthorized acts on computers under the 1990 Computer Misuse Act. Their case will be overseen in the Uxbridges Magistrates Court in West London.
