Atlantic City Sees Second Quarter Revenues Drop By 45%

Atlantic City saw its second quarter 2013 revenues drop by 45% when compared to the same period in 2012, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement revealed earlier this week.

Atlantic City's twelve land casinos brought in just $65 million in profits for the three months ending June 30th. That number is down from the $118 million in profits that the casinos brought in during the same period in 2012.

For the first half of the year, the twelve casinos' earnings amounted to $106 million, down more than 54% than the $232 million that they brought in in the first half of 2012.
