Paf Reaching Out To Casual Poker Players

This story was published more than 10 years ago.

Finnish gaming firm Alands Penningautomatforening (Paf) and the Microgaming Poker Network will be targeting casual poker players, making it easier for new players to get into the game.

The deal between the two firms will result in a new way to engage novice players by offering instructional videos and guidance.

Commenting on the new product Paf head of Poker Herbert Paradis said, “Beginners should be able to learn to play poker at their own pace and on a suitable level together with their poker peers."

Paf Director Anders Wiklund added: “PAF wants to offer something new and unique, something that is non-exclusive in that it suits all players. We believe that this is where the growth potential is," while adding that Paf wants its poker software to be "...a friendly place for hanging out and having fun with friends."
