UK based betting firm Betfred has announced that it has signed a deal with boxing television station BoxNation to become the chief sponsor of two summertime boxing matches.
The bookie is set to sponsor the July 20th Behind Enemy Lines boxing card, which is being played at Wembley Arena and will feature Dereck Chisora fighting Malik Scott.
The other fight on the sponsorship deal is the August 17th, when Nathan Cleverley fights Sergey Kovalev at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in Wales.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Betfred Co-Founder Fred Done said, “Both the Wembley and Cardiff events will show British boxing at its best. Chisora is a controversial character and will always make for an exciting fight and Cleverly is on the top of his game, so I'm looking forward to what I’m sure will be an action packed night of top British boxing."
