Belgium Blocks Four New Sites

The government of Belgium has announced that it has blocked four new online betting sites, prompting the country's Internet Service Providers to comply.

The four new sites being blocked are 1bet2beet.com, Betsafe.com, Casino-Belgie.com, and Intercasino.com. The four new sites bring the country's total of blocked sites to 78.

While the blockade is put into place, enforcing it has been a problem for the northern European country; only about half of the country's ISPs complying with the list.

The ban was put into place by Belgium last year, with fines being levied against the sites, affiliates, and players who end up being found guilty of playing at the forbidden sites.
