World Series Of Poker Dealer Dies In Accident

A well respected poker dealer died last week after being hit by a car, bringing a tint of sadness to the World Series of Poker in which he often worked.

Richard Turnbull, 86, died after he was struck by a car last Thursday while he was crossing a street in Las Vegas. Turnbull had dealt poker for more than 38 years in Sin City, working 6 of those years for the popular poker tournament, the World Series of Poker.

The tournament was met with shock upon hearing of Turnbull's death. A moment of silence in his honor was held at the tournament's Friday start.
