Poker In Venice Reportedly In Financial Trouble

This story was published more than 10 years ago.

Internet poker network Poker In Venice has reportedly been struck by financial difficulties, this coming from players who have claimed that they have been held back from getting their money.

Players had begun posting about the issues some time ago, with players reporting that Poker In Venice may owe up to €200,000 in back balances.

For its part, Poker In Venice has stated that the issues are being caused by third parties outside of their control. Yet despite these issues, the site has continued to take deposits and was matching bonuses as early as a few weeks ago.

It is unknown exactly what the issues are for the Malta licensed network, and all responses to questions have been handled in vague ways. Those interested in keeping up on the issue can track a thread at the twoplustwo poker forum at: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29/news-views-gossip/poker-venice-netw...
