The Ongame Poker Network has announced that it has decided to leave the Spanish gaming market, leaving the spot it occupied for just over a year.

No official reason was given for the pull out, but it is widely speculated that the decision came because Ongame lost Paf as a betting client earlier in the year.

Ongame touted its position in the newly legalized Spanish market last year, claiming that the untapped market could yield huge results. It doesn't appear however, that Spain could meet those expectations, and several other Spanish betting sites like goalwin.es, pokermambo.es and pokerloco.es, which will soon be without a licensed network.
