Former Absolute Poker Executive Freed From Jail

This story was published more than 10 years ago.

One of the co-founders of disbanded internet poker site Absolute Poker was released from prison last week after serving 10 months of a 14 month prison sentence laid down by the United States federal government.

Brent Beckley, 32, was released after he served the sentence for money laundering and bank fraud charges. Beckley plead guilty to the charges and was sentenced by US Federal Judge Lewis Kaplan.

It is unknown what, if any plans Beckley has for after he gets back on his feet. A re-emergence onto the US gambling market is unlikely given his past actions. As always, Casino Listings will keep you updated with the latest developments regarding Mr. Beckley.
