888Poker Grows To Fourth Largest Network

This story was published more than 10 years ago.

Internet poker brand 888Poker has officially become the fourth largest online poker network online, as poker monitoring site PokerScout announced that 888 overtook Bwin's PartyPoker for the spot.

888Poker was able to squeak into the spot with 2,062 players on average over seven days versus the 2,025 players online at PartyPoker.

It is likely that the competition between the two sites will continue to push one site ahead of the other in the next few weeks. Nonetheless, it is a refreshing story to speak about in a poker setting that has been troubled with declining traffic for the past few years.
