UK betting giant William Hill has announced that its U.S. subsidiary has obtained the naming rights at New Jersey's Monmouth Park racetrack.
As part of the deal, William Hill will be the title sponsor of the $1 million Haskell Invitation race and become the track's exclusive betting provider.
The betting firm's goal is to raise its visibility in the United States, which is a new market for the 79 year old betting firm. In 2011 William Hill acquired Nevada based sportsbook Brandywine.
