The eight men are mostly Malaysian, who were operating an illegal online casino out of the condo. The suspects were arrested by the Filippino National Bureau of Investigation and charged with running the illegal enterprise.

All eight men are being held in an immigration jail in Bicutan, Taguig and will be be removed from the country on the grounds that they violated the conditions of their visit by breaking the law.

Commenting on the case, Filippino Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David Jr. said, “After deporting them they will be placed in our blacklist to prevent them from returning to the Philippines."
