Partouche Poker Sets Closing Date

This story was published more than 10 years ago.

French online poker firm the Partouche Groupe has announced that it will be leaving the French market by closing its Partouche.fr poker site on June 17th, 2013.

The move was announced by the firm's owner Patrik Partouche and cited a lack of profitability as the reason for the closure. Partouche was notable as it was one of the first internet betting sites to gain licensing in the highly restrictive French gambling market.

Players on the site who have loyalty points will be unable to use them after June 1st, and Partouche is urging players to use the points before that date.

In lieu of its own site, Partouche is referring punters to fellow poker site MyPok.fr.
