Massachusetts Online Poker Dies In Budget

An attempt by 18 politicians in the state of Massachusetts to legalize internet poker by tacking the measure into the state's budget has failed, as the amendment was taken off the budget bill was removed just before voting began.

Details are scarce at this moment, but Casino Listings will keep up on any relevant information that comes to light.

It was initially thought that such language was left intact, however it has become apparent that the provision was removed before the budget was approved.
