iPoker Network Getting Anonymous Tables

This story was published more than 10 years ago.

Internet gambling giant Playtech's iPoker Network has announced that it is adopting anonymous tables which will be implemented by the firm next week.

The change is being touted as an "added feature" to the network, who seems to be a tad late to the party. Anonymous tables take a bit of an edge away from experienced players, who will not be able to tell who they are playing against.

Punters playing at the tables will have their screen names hidden from competitors. Tables with stakes of up to $100/$200 will be marked anonymous for the update.
