The Spanish arm of the popular betting firm 888 has announced that it has released an Android poker app for punters in the country.

The app offers both real play and free versions of the site's most popular poker variations. Optimized for both tablets and smartphones, the app is available now for free download through the 888.es website.

888 announced the app through a company statement, which read: "It's great news that our Spanish fans can rely on this application for Android enabling them to play easily and securely from any location. It is a reliable and high quality app that meets the needs of mobile customers at all times".
