Bitcoin powered poker site Seals With Clubs was attacked by an unknown assailant this week who took the site down for two full days.

The attacker used a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack, which put the site out of commission during which time engineers fought tooth and nail in order to get service restored.

Seals With Clubs is a US friendly site that uses the virtual currency Bitcoin to power player bankrolls.

Management on the site stressed that no player details were put in jeopardy due to the attack. The problem has since been resolved, and players are urged to download the latest version of the site's software in order to keep playing.
