Malaysian Police Arrest 35 In Online Gambling Raids

Police in Malaysia have announced that they raided 11 suspected online gambling premises this week, arresting 35 people in the process.

The raids took place in Malaysia's Seberang Perai Selatan area with 12 gambling caretakers being detained in the raids. 130 computers and other evidence worth roughly RM 260,000 were also seized in the raids.

The raids are part of Malaysia's ongoing state crackdown on illegal betting, which runs rampant through the country's towns.
