European gaming giant Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment has been granted an A+ gaming license by the Belgian Gaming Authority, bringing an end to a tumultuous relationship between the company and agency.
Those in the know will remember that Belgian authorities detained Bwin's CEO Norbert Tuefelberger during a gaming conference that was being held in Brussels.
In Belgium, an e-Gaming operator must partner with a land based casino in order to offer betting services. With that restriction in place, Bwin announced that it has partnered with Belcasinos Casino Kursaal Oostende NV in a deal that will direct punters to a special section on Bwin's Belgian website.
