UK based betting giant Ladbrokes has announced that it has signed a deal with BSkyB (Sky Sports), which will see the latter's content featured in Ladbrokes' 2,488 retail shops in the UK and Ireland.
A part of the deal Sky Sports content will be displayed on video walls which are customized to client preferences. The two firms are set to work together to come up with additional ways to draw in punters and increase interaction with the Sky Sports products.
Among some of the content to be featured in Ladbrokes' retail shops will be: Premier League Football, UEFA Champions League, Formula 1, Gold, Football League matches, and Rugby Union.
Commenting on the deal Ladbrokes Director Nick Rust said: “Sky delivers compelling coverage of a range of live sports – and will help us deliver a differentiated experience to Ladbrokes customers throughout the UK and Ireland.’’
Sky Business Managing Director David Rey also commented, saying: “The demand for high quality sports content has never been greater and we’re delighted to bring the entire Ladbrokes estate the full Sky Sports package. There’s no better place than Sky Sports for a vast array of sports scheduled across six channels which enhances customer engagement and betting opportunities.”
