New Jersey Man Sentenced For Operating Internet Cafe

A New Jersey man was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and gave up 89 computers and $91,000 after he plead guilty to running an internet betting cafe.

Chester Ward, 40, of New Jersey was sentenced for the crimes and escaped jail time for operating the illegal premises. Three others involved in the ring are still facing justice, as Jeffrey Spencer is facing a trial for his crimes. Gary Roach and Jason Bolschof are standing charged with various gambling and conspiracy charges.

Through New Jersey's legal system the men are subject to a probation type program where upon completion all charges may be dismissed by a judge.
