Cyber gambling software developer Scientific Games Corportation has announced that it has signed an extension of its current licensing agreement with toy giant Hasbro, Inc.

As part of the deal Scientific Games' subsidiary MDI Entertainment will continue manufacturing games based on significant Hasbro properties which include: Monopoly, Battleship, Scrabble, Yahtzee, The Game of Life, Barrel of Monkeys, Mouse Trap, Risk, Trivial Pursuit, Twister, and Connect 4. MDI will offer these brands as part of its staple of instant lottery games, terminal, and digital titles as well.

Commenting on the deal Scientific Games Chief Creative Officer Steve Saferin said: “As lotteries become more immersed in the digital age and search for quality web-based content to engage players online, having the familiarity and popularity of the Hasbro brands at their disposal for online executions should prove vitally important. Our relationship with Hasbro is significant not only to us but to the industry as a whole, and we’re tremendously gratified to continue it.”

Hasbro's Senior Vice President of Digital Media and Marketing Mark Blecher added: “MDI has been a valued and trusted licensee, and has consistently presented our properties in ways that maintain the integrity of our brands, perform well for the lotteries and provide enjoyable experiences for players.”
