California Police Conduct Online Gambling Raid

Police in California announced that they have conducted an internet gambling raid on a lounge that resulted in the seizure of guns, computers, and an ATM machine.

The raid was carried out by the Stockton Police Department, working in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice. The premises raided was D's Cyber Lounge, which was noted as being under surveillance for eight months.

The cafe was suspected of operating an illegal online gambling ring, although few details were disclosed to the press.

Also seized during the raid were a number of packaged drugs, which police believe were being sold at the cafe. A man was arrested during the raid, and remains in custody as of the writing of this report.
