Police In Vietname Break Up Football Betting Ring

Da Nang Police arrested seven people last week who were operating an illegal online betting ring which was being used to place millions of dollars in wagers on football games throughout the globe.

The ring was alleged to have been in operation since 2000 and was geared toward wealthy citizens of the Asian country. Some of the clientele includes Executives at large companies in the country.

Two of the ring's leaders are working with police, while a man named Nguyen Anh Cuong is set to be held for up to four months.

An additional man is being sought by authorities at this time.
