The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that slot revenues in the state reached $2.5 billion in 2012; the highest amount ever recorded for the Keystone State.

With the record setting revenue, Pennsylvania has seen six years of consecutive growth. The $2.8 billion number eclipses 2011's $2.41 billion total, which indicates a 2.7% increase.

The largest generator of revenue was Greenwood Gaming's Parx Casino, which brought in $384.6 million. Sands Casino Resort, Rivers, and Harrah's Philadelphia followed next with $291.5 million, $282.1 million, and $259.5 million each.
