Internet wagering destination Betfred has announced that it has launched its mobile casino, which is powered by wagering developer Playtech.
The mobile casino will feature a library of 20 games, which encompass table and slot games. The move is the first in a series of revamped offerings from Betfred, which will offer live dealer games and a new bingo product later in the year.
Commenting on the release, Betfred Managing Director Chris Sheffield said: "This is a very exciting launch for us that fits perfectly in line with our overall strategy to boost mobile activity. We are confident that with Playtech's proven products combined with our strong focus on the platform, we will be able to generate significant traffic to mobile from both existing and new players."
Playtech COO Shay Segev also commented, saying: "We are thrilled to introduce Playtech's mobile casino to Betfred, as they are an important operator in the mobile arena. With the investment and effort they continue to put into expanding and promoting this platform, we see Betfred as a great partner in advancing our reach on mobile."
