188 Bet To Offer Anonymous Poker Tables

This story was published more than 11 years ago.

Internet betting site 188 Bet has announced that it will begin offering anonymous poker tables, aiding recreational players from pro players who scout user tendencies through tracking software.

188 Bet's move come roughly a year after Bodog did the same thing. The move was initially unpopular with fans of tracking sites, but was hailed as an equalizer for recreational players.

The anonymous tables will block out player names, profiles, locations, notes, and avatars, making everybody appear equal upon joining a game.
