A day after the news was broken that the Dutch and Dutchess of Cambridge are expecting their first child, several odds makers are already placing out their initial odds for the baby's name.

Some of the largest books in the land such as William Hill, Paddy Power, and Ladbrokes have published odds on everything from gender to God-Parent, to baby name.

Ladbrokes has published the name Elizabeth as the current favorite with 8/1 odds, followed by John, Charles, and Frances all at 10/1.

Paddy Power has Mary, John, and Victoria all published at 8/1 odds. Diana is second at 9/1, with Philip, Charles, and Anna all coming in at 10/1.

Those looking to make a long shot bet can also rest assured, as names such as Wallis, Rafa, and Bradley all come in at 100/1. Fergie also has high odds at 250/1.

If you are looking to get out of the name game, bets are also being taken on the baby's hair color, birth weight, and God-Parents.

A baby born with blonde or brunette will pay off with a 2/1 bet, while a ginger haired child will pay out 8/1.

A punter betting that the yet to be named royal comes in weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces will be paid out at 5/2, and a chunky 10 pound child will pay out 10/1.

Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton are both favored to be the child's God-Parents, coming in as even money bets. The long shot bet for this wager is David and Victoria Beckham, who are getting 22/1 and 100/1 odds to be named as God-Parents.
