Internet gaming firm Intralot's Italian branch has announced that it has signed a deal with Italian football club AS Roma which will see its logo displayed on side boards at Stadio Olimpico.
As part of the deal, Intralot Italia will have the rights to put its name on the field's perimeter boards for all Coppa Italia and Serie A games at Stadio Olimpico, whose seating capacity is currently 70,600.
Commenting on the deal, Intralot Italia Marketing Director Lorenzo Pellicelli said: “Football is a passion that involves millions of Italians, from players to fans, and with this initiative Intralot Italia highlights the importance of its association with the world of sports in order to promote a safe and responsible culture of gaming and entertainment."
AS Roma Commercial Director Christoph Winterling also commented, saying: “We are really delighted to have signed an agreement with such an important brand as Intralot."
