Internet betting giant Gala Coral Group has announced that it has re-launched its sportsbetting website Coral, this time utilizing the Playtech wagering system platform as part of a deal between the two groups.

The move comes shortly after the Gala Coral Group moved its two largest casino games brands, Gala Casino and Gala Bingo over to Playtech's platform.

The revamped website includes all of Playtech's major features including casino, bingo, and poker games as well as mobile betting services, which are being provided by Mobenga (a Playtech subsidiary).

Commenting on the launch, Gala Coral CEO Carl Leaver said: “We are very pleased to have completed our migration to Playtech’s platform and products. Having a single wallet will enable us to be more effective at growing our customers’ loyalty and increasing cross-sell. Additionally, with this modern, flexible technology, we will be able to continue developing our offering in line with our customers’ needs in a dynamic, low cost way.”

Playtech COO Shay Segev also commented, saying: “It is with great pleasure that we conclude our successful effort to support Gala Coral Group on all product verticals and in all channels. Their distinguished brands further strengthen our position as the leading software provider in the industry, and this partnership has been a strong indication of businesses’ growing desire to centralize their products, services, and operations under one platform to increase brand loyalty."
