Internet poker destination SunPoker.com has shut its doors, telling players that it has stopped offering its poker services as of November 5th due to the iPoker Network split.

Sun Poker, which is owned by Peak Interactive N.V. told players that it will instead be focusing on Omni Casino, which all players have had their accounts and balances transferred to.
A statement on the Sun Poker website reads: "We pride ourselves on offering the best services and due to changes made on the iPoker network in September 2012, we could no longer provide our valued members the poker experience they have come to know and enjoy at SunPoker. We thank you for over 10 years of 'fun in the sun'.
