A new poker site has been launched from the Central American country of Costa Rica, as Che Guevara themed poker site Poker Rebel has officially launched.
The site is currently offering Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud and 5 Card Stud in cash and tournament options. Fixed Limit, Pot Limit, and No Limit Hold'em is also offered through the site.
The launch of the new site has drawn some criticism from players, noting that the site's poker software is less than impressive, prompting a company representative to note on the twoplustwo poker forum that "We'll launch a completely new interface soon."
A media statement seemed to focus more on the upcoming interface rather than the current system, claiming: "With a mind blowing interface coming up really soon, mobile poker and great new features, Rebel is developing heavily in order to reach our goal, which is to become one of the best networks in the industry."
