This story was published more than 10 years ago.

In a story we are seeing all too often, police in Malaysia report that they have arrested four men in illegal gambling raids in the state of Sabah.

Along with the arrests, RM 80,000 worth of goods were seized during the raids. These goods include video game systems, modems, and computers among other pieces of merchandise.

The rise in raids coincides with Home Minister Datuk Hishammuddin Tun Hussein's comments that illegal gaming activity in the Asian island nation is on the rise.
