Online Poker Has A Good Week

The online poker industry had a solid second week in a row as poker sites saw their internet traffic rose 2.3%, a report by Pokerscout states.

Pokerscout claims that Party Poker had a 7% jump in traffic for the week, rising to the second most visited site after spending 13 weeks behind PokerStars and Playtech's iPoker Network.

Other poker operators enjoying jumps of more than 6% were Ongame,,, Bodog;,, PKR, and GTech G2's IPN.

As always, the news was not exclusively positive, as The Revolution Network and iPoker both saw their traffic drop by more than 2%.

For the year the entire poker industry has seen a cumulative drop in traffic of 7% when compared to last year.
