Online poker destination Full Tilt Poker has launched play money versions of its poker software a week ahead of its November 6th real money re-launch.

The beleaguered poker company is allowing players to log into their accounts for the first time in 16 months. Players are able to play the free games, view their account balances as well as their FTP points.

The new software is acting as a beta test, which is set to ensure that "everything is running smoothly".

Players who upgrade to the new software are first prompted to select a new password and offered the chance to link their existing FTP account with sister company PokerStars.

The full site is set to re-launch on Tuesday.
