Cyber Gambling Cafe Raided In Arizona

An internet cafe in Arizona was raided by police and shut down due to allegedly conducting an illegal online gambling business.

Police in Glendale conducted the raid in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Gaming, resulting in the seizure of 40 computers and $940,000 in cash. Two gamers inside the cafe were also arrested.

Gambling in for-profit businesses is strictly prohibited in Arizona, with legal gambling only being permitted on Indian reservations and at limited charity events.
