Internet based betting firm BetButler has announced that it has inked a deal with The Football League, becoming the organization's 'Official Betting and Gaming Provider'.

The deal is for two years and will enable fans to support their favorite clubs by betting on them. Each club will receive a share of the money based on both winning and losing bets. More than 80 clubs are included in the deal, which could prove to be a boon for each club's bottom line.

Some of the clubs involved in the deal are Lincoln City FC; Peterborough United FC; Crystal Palace FC; Cheltenham Town FC; Tranmere Rovers; Preston North End FC; Macclesfield Town FC; Blackburn Rovers; Grimsby Town FC and Blackpool.

Commenting on the deal, The Football League's Chief Commercial Officer Richard Heaselgrave said: "This is a really innovative partnership that delivers a fantastic win-win situation for supporters. They will get the best odds in the marketplace and their club will benefit directly from their betting activity."
