Law enforcement in the Philippines reported that seven Korean nationals were arrested this week on charges of operating an illegal online gambling ring within a condo in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Those arrested in crime ring were reported to be Jae Hoon Hwong, Yong Yeom Kim, Sung Hoon youn, Hyeok Choi, Yong Beom Cho, Jin Dong Kim and Jun Min Heok.
Ricardo David, the Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration said that the group is being held in the Immigration Jail in Bicutan, Parañaque City.
The men are facing charges of violating gambling laws and will be deported after their criminal sentences are served.
