The Betclic Everest Group has announced that it will be porting over its BetClic Everest Poker brand to the Playtech iPoker Network later this year.
The agreement expands on BetClic's current agreement with Playtech, who also provides technology solutions for BetClic's Scandinavian site Expekt and Italian site BetClic.it.
BetClic claims that the switch will allow them to focus on marketing, promo offers, and new tournament concepts.
Commenting on the switch, BetClic Everest Group CEO Ignacio Martos said: "Playtech is the best way to improve the experience of our customers and our liquidity and to offer our community a better interface to the latest industry standards. With this partnership, we continue our strategy to offer the best online gaming experience to our players and to consolidate our position in key European markets where we are present."
Playtech CEO Mor Weizer also commented, saying: "The French market remains a priority market for us. We believe that the combination of BetClic-Everest Group, one of the leading operators in the French market and our technology solutions reinforces our strategy on regulated markets. This partnership extends beyond France , and is of benefit to our two groups with greater liquidity, advanced technology and closer relations."
