Law enforcement in Malaysia are gearing up for another round of illegal online gambling raids, following the growth of the activity in the state of Pahang.

Recent raids in Malaysia's third largest state netted 2,644 computers worth roughly RM 2,219,308. The computers were being used to conduct illegal online gambling at 214 different premises throughout the first half of the year.

The raids are expected to increase for the rest of the year as authorities increase their monitoring presence on the island nation.
