Internet traffic monitor PokerScout is reporting that internet poker traffic dropped by 6.3% last week when compared with the same time period last year.

The decrease in traffic is the poker industry's sixth consecutive week of reduced traffic; a bad sign for the languishing internet poker industry.

PokerStars was the top visited online poker site, with iPoker, Party Poker, 888poker and the Ongame Network rounding out the top five poker sites for the week.

Year over year, the online poker industry is seeing a 21% drop in traffic. PKR is down 42%, Merge is down 21% and the French PokerStars site showing a 33% drop in traffic.
