Nevada Licenses Two Testing Agencies

On Thursday the Nevada Gaming Control Board accepted the licensing applications by wagering testing agencies BMM International and Gaming Laboratories International, making the two firms the first to be certified in the Silver State.

While the NGCB has been testing wagering equipment for several decades it only last year opened the possibility of shopping out the duties to third party companies.

Mark Lipparelli, the Chairman of the NGCB said that letting third party companies test out equipment will allow Nevada to stay ahead in the rapidly growing gaming technology sector.

The NGCB will now work to set up policies, certifying test labs and working to become aware of new trends in gaming technology.
