Long time internet gambling giant Intertops has seen its poker division stop accepting new player registrations originating from inside of the United States.
Players from the United States who attempt to register on the site were given a message that reads: "Thank you for your interest in Intertops! Unfortunately, we are unable to accept new customers from your country or region at this time. If you believe you received this message in error please contact our customer support team."
Intertops has also modified its Terms and Conditions stating that “Intertops reserves the right to refuse new registrations from the United States.”
Industry insiders have speculated that the move may be connected to the recent move by Intertops to the Revolution Network, which was formed when Lock Poker absorbed the Cake Poker Network.
Currently no officials from Intertops have been willing to comment on the blockage of American players, although Casino Listings will keep you updated if and when official word is given.
