Reports of a roulette wheel hitting the number nineteen seven consecutive times were dismissed by Caesars Entertainment as being a "diagnostic test".
Punters at the Rio in Las Vegas recorded the event, pegged with odds of 114 billion to one, and quickly spread the story across the internet. During the "diagnostic test", 12 of the 16 spins landed on either nineteen or twenty, including the streak of seven consecutive nineteens.
Speaking to the Detroit News a Rio Spokesman said: "There was no one playing at that table. It was just a diagnostic test being done."
