Ayr United Continues Its Bodog Sponsorship Deal

Scottish Football Club Ayr United has announced that it has extended its partnership with Bodog, which will see the gambling giant's logo on the team's shirts for the second consecutive season.

The deal comes a week after Bodog had its sponsorship deal with Barclays Premier League Team West Bromwich Albion terminated, after the club decided to take a more lucrative sponsorship deal with real estate company Zoopla.

Commenting on the deal, Ayr United Commercial Director Hugh Cameron said: “Its great that Calvin and the Bodog brand will be coming back for more of the Ayr United roller-coaster and with a new manager on-board I hope we can go back up to Di vision One next season."

“Bodog’s ability to promote the club on a global level saw us attract record shirt sales last season including our first shipments to Asia which is just what this club needs and I’ve no doubt it will be similar next season. In the meantime I look forward to the madness that is the Bodog kit launch later in the summer.”
