West Bromwich Albion Cuts Bodog Sponsorship

Online gambling franchise Bodog Europe has had its sponsorship agreement with English Premier League football team West Bromwich Albion terminated after the club signed a more lucrative deal with property firm Zoopla.

The separation of the two organizations is reportedly amicable, and West Bromwich officials have praised Bodog for how it has conducted itself during its time as the club's sponsor.

“The mutual decision to part company with Bodog was not an easy one for the club based on the fact we were very happy with our relationship." West Bromwich Marketing Director Adrian Wright said.

“However, the club has been presented with an attractive new opportunity and Bodog were more than happy to accommodate our request to step aside and enable us to pursue a different avenue.”

The new sponsorship deal between Zoopla and West Bromwich is reportedly worth £3 million.
