PokerStars Preps For 80,000,000,000th Hand

Internet poker room PokerStars is getting set for a big milestone as it approaches its eighty billionth hand of poker, which was expected to be hit on May 6th.

PokerStars was offering several different promotions to reel players into its poker software, offering bonuses to players who are part of the final 300 milestone hands that are paid out on million hand intervals. The site was predicting that it would pay out over a million dollars by the time the eighty billionth hand is dealt.

Players involved in the big hand will get at least $10,000 with the winner receiving $20,000.
