British betting firm the Gala Coral Group has signed a £500,000 deal with UK newspaper the Daily Mirror which will see Gala Coral become the paper's sole betting partner for 2012.
The deal will begin in June and will see Gala Coral offering various incentives to punters including bespoke odds and free bets. Negotiations between the two firms were aided by the7stars.
Commenting on the deal, Gala Coral Retail Marketing Director Olly Raeburn said: “The7stars has created an exciting campaign which ticks all the boxes for Gala Coral. It’s focused on one of the most talked about sporting events of the year and will put us directly in front of eyeballs within our key target audiences.”
Mirror Group Advertising Head of Business Development Mark Field said: “Working with the7stars and Gala Coral we have created a great partnership which marries our outstanding football coverage with contextual and relevant bets. It’s a great example of how collaborative thinking creates excellent engagement with readers.”
