Four Men Arrested In Indiana Internet Cafe Gambling Bust

Four men in Indiana have been charged with running an illegal internet gambling ring after investigators bought computer time and were given the chance to gamble online.

The business in question was Lincoln International Internet Sensations LLC, which allegedly ran afoul of Indiana's gambling laws. Indiana Gaming Control Officer Robert Townsend reported in court documents that he went to the internet cafe in question several times between August 1st and December 21st, 2011 where he bought computer time and gambled on the cafe's computers.

Charges have been filed against Jared E. Hockstedler (professional gambling and money laundering), Stephen W. Carnes (corrupt business influence, promoting professional gambling, professional gambling, and money laundering), Edward Meirs (corrupt business influence, promoting professional gambling, professional gambling, money laundering), and Matthew W. Rae (corrupt business influence, promoting professional gambling, professional gambling, and money laundering).

All of the charges against the men are felonies.
